Interim Accounting Specialist | Potential Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Target Start Date: June 2, 2025
Vaco is partnering with a dynamic client seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team in a potential contract-to-hire role. This position offers a broad scope of responsibilities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Support month-end close including journal entries and account reconciliations
• 
  Manage accounts receivable and collections, including lien processing
• 
  Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll for a 49-employee workforce
• 
  Navigate and utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Strong hands-on accounting experience
• 
  Background in AR/collections; experience with liens is a plus
• 
  Payroll processing experience required
• 
  No degree necessary - strong work ethic and team-first attitude matter most
• 
  Comfortable working with a direct and results-driven executive team
