Accounting Manager Our client, is a leader in the packaging industry and is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present monthly financial statements.
• Finalize A/P and A/R; reconcile bank statements and correct transactions as needed.
• Review cost reports for discrepancies and record manual entries (payroll, investments, etc.).
• Oversee daily accounting operations and assist with invoicing and payroll as needed.
• Manage payroll system for accuracy and compliance.
• Handle international invoices and customer payment contracts (e.g., Letters of Credit).
• Ensure timely tax payments and coordinate with tax advisors on compliance.
• Improve accounting procedures and manage customer credit and payment terms.

• Preferred: 2+ years of direct experience with listed tasks and 5+ years in accounting. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.
• Proven experience closing monthly books, preparing financial statements, reconciling bank accounts, making manual journal entries, and reviewing A/P and A/R.
• Strong understanding of GAAP; able to derive and apply accounting procedures and clearly communicate complex concepts with leadership and external advisors.
• Skilled in interpreting financial statements, identifying anomalies, and providing meaningful insights.
• Experience setting up and maintaining payroll systems, including GL coding of deductions and generating compliance reports for HR. Synerfac
