Director, Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics (OPEN TO ALL U.S. LOCATIONS) Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement A&M is seeking to expand its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) team in various locations throughout the U.S. Our firm excels in problem solving and value creation, helping organizations tackle complex business issues and maximize value. Our PEPI services include: Supply Chain Transformation Services Manufacturing Operations Improvement Interim Management M&A Services CFO Services A&M’s Supply Chain professionals assist clients in analyzing the supply chain process including Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics, and Distribution to identify value creation opportunities and develop actionable roadmaps. Professional experience: We are seeking individuals that can lead and deliver complex client engagements working closely with Private Equity leadership: Understand a client’s supply chain including manufacturing and distribution locations, product flow, and operating costs. Assess potential improvement opportunities and define supply chain strategies. Analyze supply chain network design and optimize costs and service delivery. Conduct sourcing events related to transportation and warehousing. Assess inventory planning processes and recommend improvements. Develop transformation plans for transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables. Professional skills: Strong written, oral, and analytical skills Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Structured project management skills Critical thinking and initiative Client relationship building Qualifications: 10-15 years of consulting and industry operating experience Leadership roles within Supply Chain / Distribution and Logistics preferred Experience in distribution and logistics analysis Deep expertise in network optimization and inventory planning Flexibility to travel based on project requirements The salary range is $150,000--$225,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
