Your Next Adventure: Health and Wellness Coach REPORTS TO: Clinician Manager CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, non-exempt (30+ hours a week) SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Saturday, 6:50am - 2:00pm, some later hours required for internal meetings and training. LOCATION: Greenbrae, CA

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ready to empower others on their transformative journey to optimal health? Join us at JumpstartMD as a Health Coach, where you'll be the catalyst for change in our members' lives! In this dynamic role, you'll provide personalized 1:1 coaching sessions, utilizing motivational interviewing skills to inspire and empower members enrolled in our weight loss program. Conduct exhilarating weekly 1:1 coaching sessions with JumpstartMD's weight loss program participants, employing motivational interviewing techniques to ignite transformational journeys. Craft personalized program plans tailored to each member's unique needs, from dietary restrictions to health issues, ensuring every goal is within reach. Serve as the frontline liaison for member inquiries, sending reminders and providing appointment follow-ups with expert triage skills and meticulous attention to detail. Keep clinic operations running smoothly, from managing medication refill requests to maintaining a tidy environment, all while facilitating seamless EMR charting to support efficient workflow.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a medical or clinical office setting. 1-2 years of professional experience in health, fitness, and/or nutrition. Preferred qualifications include Health Coach certification, CPR certification, and proficiency in motivational interviewing. Proficient in MS Office 365 and experience with EMR/EHR systems. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong multitasking abilities and ability to work efficiently with minimal errors. Demonstrates high ownership, accountability, and initiative. Flexible team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in an intimate clinical setting. Why JumpstartMD?
