Job Description

As a Janitor at Sleep International, you will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in orderly condition, performing periodic detailed cleaning of offices. This position will also spend time helping to clean the manufacturing floor facilities too. Requirements This position will also spend time helping to clean the manufacturing floor facilities too. Janitor's Responsibilities: Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms. Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas. Empty all trash cans and replace liners. Dust and clean common areas including ceiling light fixtures. Clean windows and mirrors. Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition. Follow safety rules and use safety precautions. Use of chemicals or cleaning solutions to perform duties. Qualifications 1+ year performing Janitorial duties, preferably in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or fell and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arm. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
