A gentleman living in North Scottsdale is looking for a Full time, live-in housekeeper to maintain his 5,400 sq. ft. home. Must LOVE dogs, the home has 5 large, friendly dogs. No smoking allowed.

A private casita with kitchen and bathroom will be provided. No spouses, partners or pets allowed to live in casita. No rent charged for casita.

Starting salary $600/week + Paid Holidays (6 major holidays). 40 hours of PTO and 80 hours of PTO after 1 year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Care for Pets
• Feed and water dogs twice a day
• Clean up after dogs if they make a mess in the house
• Care for dogs when owner is out of town
• Walk dogs (1 at a time, when weather permits)
• Sweep and mop floors
• Vacuum carpets, rugs
• Dust and polish furniture, photo frames, blinds, window ledges, trim, ceiling fans, and light fixtures
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
• Wash walls and baseboards; remove marks on walls and baseboards
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
• Wipe down glass surfaces
• Wipe down refrigerators, wine fridge, appliances, etc.
• Dispose of expired food in refrigerator, freezer and pantry
• Tidy up rooms and make up beds and change linens as required
• Keep cleaning supply and household inventory (use inventory for creating lists to run errands)
• Sort, wash, fold and put away clean laundry to agreed on standards
• Iron and press clothing as needed
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen
• Organize and clean drawers, closets, etc.
• Run errands (take dogs to vet or groomer)
• Declutter and organizational projects
• Clean entryway of home
• Care for indoor/outdoor plants
• Assistance with working with vendors and bringing in the groceries

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos along with ability to write simple correspondence.
• Technology proficient (e. g., email and text messages for communication, search engines for choosing resources, etc.)
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend.
• Professional with good attitude, hardworking and pleasant to be around.
• High energy level
• Discreet and calm demeanor

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous housekeeping experience
• Provide references
• Seeking longevity (e.g.,minimum 2 year commitment)
• Ability to communicate in English
• Driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation

· No drugs

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours)

Starting Pay: $600/week (based on experience)

Hours per week:

Work Remotely:

• Yes. On occasion, the owner may need their home in Parks, AZ (2.5 hour drive north) to be cleaned. This is typically in the summer months and may require multiple days.
