We are partnering with a leading national protein provider to fill an immediate Maintenance Management role at one of their processing facilities in the central Washington area. This is a prime opportunity to join a top 10 egg producer with multiple divisions and operations across the United States.
Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance duties at the Moses Lake facility, reporting directly to the Plant and Complex Managers. The role demands an experienced professional with a background in food processing or manufacturing maintenance, along with leadership experience or capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage all maintenance activities within the processing facility.
* Ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime of all machinery and equipment.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs.
* Oversee and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
* Manage and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
* Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in maintenance within a food plant or processing facility.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, large capital equipment, and automated controls.
* Leadership and supervisory experience.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary: $70,000 - $85,000, with potential for bonuses.
