LOCATION : Sacramento, CA.

SALARY : $25.00 – 26.00/Hr.

SCHEDULE : Long Term | Mon – Fri |7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

INDUSTRY : Manufacturing

THE ROLE

As a Payroll Specialist role, you will assist with payroll processing and provide general HR support as needed. This role focuses on accuracy, compliance, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
• Maintain payroll records, handle deductions, and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Assist employees with timecard entry, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws regarding wage and hour regulations.
• Provide HR support, including employee relations and administrative tasks, as needed.

SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES

• Payroll experience (processing, compliance, and reporting).
• Tech-savvy with the ability to assist employees in navigating and troubleshooting timecard entry systems.
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws related to payroll.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.
