The company offers a comprehensive platform for advancing drug discovery using a curated collection of human iPSCs from healthy individuals and patients with various genetic and rare diseases. Role Description Full-time on-site role for a Senior Scientist in Palo Alto, CA. The Senior Scientist will be responsible for conducting research, data analysis, and experimental design using an iPSC based 3D organoid platform. Preference to candidate with prior experience with multicellular 3D cardiac organoids, self-organizing organoids, organ-on-a-chip model systems. The role would include deriving holistic 3D organoid models from human iPSCs that recapitulate the key functional interactions and physiology of native healthy and diseases tissue. The candidate would be responsible for deriving key insights and outputs from mature organoids for clinical applications. Daily tasks include making decisions with cross-functional teams, developing innovative research strategies, and contributing to the advancement of lead compound development to advance cutting-edge biomedical research.
