Job Title: RAN Technical Project Manager (In-Building Solutions)

Location: United States (Remote with Travel as Needed)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RAN Technical Project Manager with a strong background in RF In-Building Solutions and preferably experience with Nokia RAN technologies . This individual will be responsible for end-to-end project execution of distributed antenna systems (DAS), small cells, and indoor coverage solutions, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, technical standards, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical delivery of RAN infrastructure projects with a focus on in-building wireless (IBW) and DAS deployments.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact between the client, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
  • Drive planning, design, integration, and optimization of RF in-building systems , ensuring performance KPIs are met.
  • Oversee Nokia RAN equipment deployments , configuration, and acceptance.
  • Coordinate with RF engineers, construction managers, OEMs, and field technicians to meet project milestones.
  • Manage the scope, budget, schedule, and risk management aspects of each assigned project.
  • Conduct site audits and readiness assessments, supporting RF and civil work design.
  • Track project documentation, including RF design packages, site readiness checklists, integration reports, and as-built documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customer standards, industry best practices, and safety regulations.
  • Regularly report progress to leadership and stakeholders via status reports and executive dashboards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in the wireless telecom industry, with strong hands-on experience in RF In-Building/DAS projects .
  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Project Manager on RAN deployments , particularly in-building or indoor solutions .
  • Nokia RAN equipment experience required or highly preferred (e.g., AirScale, Flexi, NetAct).
  • Familiarity with RF tools such as iBwave, Atoll, TEMS, or Actix.
  • Solid understanding of LTE, 5G NR, and IP transport principles.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to project sites or customer meetings.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing Tier-1 carrier or neutral host in-building projects (e.g., Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile).
  • Previous experience working directly with or for Nokia (or Nokia partners).
  • Experience with enterprise or venue deployments such as airports, hospitals, stadiums, etc.
