Job Description

Special Education Teacher (Private setting)

Certified Special Education Teacher needed for a private clinic.

Duties include:

Developing and implementing educational goals for home school programs at our clinic, which also offers ABA and behavioral support.
Assist parents needing educational advocacy.
Executive functioning coaching, reading strategies, developing accommodations, and assisting in student's learning challenges.
This program is a multi-disciplinary practice that has psychologists, ABA therapists, speech, OT/PT, and psychiatric services.

Must be a certified Special Education teacher in the state of Texas and at least 5 years of experience is preferred but not required.
Having experience with behaviorally challenged students or children on the autism spectrum is a plus, but full behavioral support (one-on-one staff) will be present during instruction if needed.
