**Radius rule: Travelers permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit**
Department Information:
• Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years Respiratory Therapy (Resource Team)
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
• Will provide Respiratory care for all patients throughout facility
• Neonate - Pediatric; will care for Adults as often as is needed when floated
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team requirements)
• RRT or CRT
• NC Licensure
Skills required:
• 2 years Respiratory Therapy (Resource Team); IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience
• ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, Gen Med Floors
Support within the Department:
• Respiratory Leadership
Technology/Equipment:
• EMR: EPIC
• Department specific Equipment: ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV)
Floating:
• Will be required to float within region, as needed, within scope of practice - will be DECLINED if not agreeable. If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
• Region 1 includes: Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, any Freestanding ED within Region, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
